Shane O'Hanlon

Born into a family of engineers, Shane has been fascinated by technology since a very early age. Graduating top of his class from the National University of Ireland, Shane has Bachelor's Degrees in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, as well as a Master's Degree in Computing.
Rivalled only by his academic pedigree, Shane's practical research and development experience is equally impressive. Having worked on the design of routing solutions and operational support systems for the word's largest ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and MSOs (Multi-System Operators), Shane went on to gain extensive new product development experience at three leading network vendors before co-founding DBAM Systems with the primary aim of exploiting a gap he'd identified in the Quality of Service (QoS) solutions market.
"Whilst many vendors were focused on the specification of high level QoS protocols, few were delivering solutions to the real QoS issues that were strangling application and business performance" explains Shane. "The Exbander range is designed specifically to address this very need".
As Technical Director, Shane has board-level responsibility for the ongoing technical development of the Exbander Precision range in line with the needs of both the installed base, and those of future users.
