DBAM Aims to Attract Resellers with its Revamped Channel Partner Program
Wakefield, 01 December 2009 – DBAM, the leading developer of advanced application acceleration technologies, has announced a major overhaul of its Channel Partner Program, adding a number of new benefits and stepping up the pace of its recruitment drive. The company wants to bring on board more solutions resellers who can take its unique set of EP software-only application acceleration solutions to the market.
The company has also introduced the new DBAM Service and Support Partner scheme to provide a way for service-focused VARs to engage with DBAM and deliver front-line service and support to end-user customers. The DBAM Partner Support Program (DPSP) will enable resellers to offer their own distinct support and service offering on EP solutions, with the full backing of DBAM’s own technical team.
Partners will also be able to offer the DBAM Customer Support Program (DCSP), giving them the option of re-selling contracts for which DBAM will provide front-line service and support while continuing to respect the individual reseller’s ownership of the account.
Lorna Riddle, UK Channel Sales Manager for DBAM, says that the company’s revamped Program is designed to make it easy for resellers to engage with the company and start taking EP solutions to the market. “With the new DBAM Partner Program we have applied common sense at every level and made sure that we reward value. We believe that our EP solutions present a massive opportunity for resellers. We want to make it easy for them to engage with us and ensure that those partners who achieve the results also enjoy the benefits.”
Riddle is keen to encourage resellers that are accustomed to selling solutions, not just networking infrastructure, to sign-up. “With our software-only solutions, we have an offering that clearly differentiates us and our partners from the competition. It is a simple, no-risk proposition for both the reseller and the end user customer and we believe there is a significant and growing opportunity for resellers to address in application acceleration right now.”
With growth in remote and mobile working continuing and more widespread adoption of virtualisation solutions being driven by VMware and Microsoft, the time is ripe for resellers to take the EP value proposition to their customers, she says. “With DBAM’s EP solutions, partners can focus on the improved productivity and consistent performance of applications, rather than the technicalities of WAN or bandwidth acceleration. They can talk about delivering tangible benefits and ensuring that customers get the very best out of their applications, their investments and their users. That’s a language that business decision-makers find much easier to understand.”
