DBAM Gets Gold

DBAM Systems has won an internationally recognised Gold Award for an outstanding IP networks traffic shaping product.

DBAM Systems Limited has received the Gold Award for its Exbander Precision EP60 product from Broadband-Testing Laboratories, Europe's foremost independent network testing facility.

DBAM's Exbander systems are used to control the delivery of Internet Protocol traffic, maximising the speed and availability of the Internet connection by reducing congestion between contending applications.

This is vital for mission critical applications for businesses, patient care systems, voice applications and video technologies- in fact every type of application that uses the Internet.

DBAM's co-founders Howard Bedford and Shane O'Hanlon are delighted with the award. Shane O'Hanlon said: "This Gold award not only recognises the excellence of our technology and of our product design, but also recognises that the product range accurately addresses the market's requirements; it is a significant achievement."

Howard Bedford added, "We are addressing the biggest untapped market in technology today. Organisations want to maximise the benefit from their existing network infrastructure; they want an Internet-based wide area network (WAN) that performs just like their local area networks- whether they are sending a word document locally or transferring a 100MB file globally without impacting the flow of interactive real time traffic; this requirement is easily fulfilled by our products.
