Wakefield, 08 December 2009– DBAM, the leading developer of advanced application acceleration technologies, has signed a UK distribution agreement with Bell Micro, opening up the potential for many more value-added resellers to develop profitable new revenue streams with the company’s EP range of appliances and software.


9 February 2010 - Andrew Philip Wood and Christopher Michael White appointed as Joint Administrators on 9 February 2010. Acting as Agents of the Company without liability.

1)Was DBAM purchased by another company?
No. DBAM Systems went into
administration on February 9, 2010 and has ceased to trade. As part of
its insolvency proceedings, various assets of DBAM were sold to one or
more companies.
2)I have a support contract with DBAM Systems. Can I continue to get support?
DBAM
Systems ceased to trade in February 2010. As such, all operations
including support have permanently ceased. Since the company has
ceased to operate, it can no longer continue to fulfill its obligations.
3)What became of DBAM’s assets?
As
part of the insolvency proceedings, its assets were sold. For example,
SonicWALL, Inc., purchased certain Intellectual Property and technology
assets, but did not acquire the company, the product line, the
inventory nor any obligations and has no ability to continue the DBAM
business. Other companies have or may in the future, acquire the
remaining assets.
4)Can I still purchase DBAM Systems products?
DBAM Systems has ceased to trade, and their products have not been manufactured since February 2010.
5)Why did SonicWALL, Inc., acquire certain Intellectual Property?
SonicWALL, Inc. has stated it may incorporate WAN Optimization Technology into future products.
