21.1.09 - Paris Arey to lead DBAM Systems into next phase of its development as the technology leader in WAN optimisation solutions
Former Adtran and Cisco Systems executive will lead the company into the next phase of its business development and establish operations in the US market
Wakefield, 21 January 2009 – DBAM Systems, the leading developer of enterprise WAN optimisation solutions, has announced the appointment of former Adtran and Cisco Systems senior executive, Paris Arey, as CEO of its worldwide operations. In this newly-created role, Arey will be responsible for leading the company into the next phase of its development, ensuring that it has the structures, processes and scalability in place to drive growth and expand its reach into key markets. He will also act as Head of US Operations for DBAM, with the aim of establishing key partnerships and a strong presence in the North American market. Arey brings a wealth of experience in strategic business and channel development to the company, having spent more than 25 years in sales, marketing and operational roles within major vendor organisations. In his most recent senior roles at Adtran and Cisco, he has demonstrated his ability to drive organisational and revenue growth on a global basis through the development of strong distributor and reseller partnerships.
