Hoefsloot has broad experience in the WAN optimisation sector having previously worked at Packeteer for almost a decade, where he held a number of senior posts, including that of Regional Manager Northern Europe, and was instrumental in helping the company to establish its channel network. For the past 12 months, Hoefsloot has been working as a specialist consultant in channel development and demand generation within the applications acceleration field.

Hemes says that interest in DBAM’s solutions throughout Europe is growing rapidly quickly. “IT budgets are under constraint and organisations are starting to realize that simply throwing more bandwidth at the problem, or deploying technologies that simply accelerate all WAN traffic indiscriminately, is not the answer. A more intelligent and integrated approach is needed and that is what DBAM provides.”

DBAM is expecting to see rapid growth during the next 12 months. In recent weeks the company has made a number of key management appointments and continues to recruit specialist and experienced staff.
