Q. What is the Rate Watcher?
A. Rate watcher allows administrators to view the current throughput rate for each bandwidth rule, for upstream and downstream direction and for byte or packet count. If the individual chart bar is chosen then a rate tracker window is launched. The rate tracker window allows individual rule throughput and packet rate to be viewed over time.
It is also possible to assign thresholds against rules. This means when a rule exceeds a threshold an email may be sent to an administrator or group of administrators.
