A. There are two types of processes
- Enter a process the applies to a packet entering the system
- Exit a process that applies when the packet exits the system
A process is a series of functions that are applied to traffic passing through a rule.

- Accept the packet
- Connection rate limit
- Send to another rule
- Load balancing between servers Processes adds a methodology and business logic to bandwidth management.
