A. Precision can export statistical data to a central database. From which an administrator can create reports of network activity. In order to configure the export choose from the main menu the "System" and then the sub menu "Stats Export".

Q. What is the Java Applet?
A. The main Precision management tool is delivered through a Java application. The Java application is an Applet which means it is available through the web. However work is in progress to deliver a PC application. This is intended to be available by the end of September 2005. All communications from the applet to Precision are conducted using SSL to ensure secure transactions.

Q. What is the Rate Watcher?
A. Rate watcher allows administrators to view the current throughput rate for each bandwidth rule, for upstream and downstream direction and for byte or packet count. If the individual chart bar is chosen then a rate tracker window is launched. The rate tracker window allows individual rule throughput and packet rate to be viewed over time.
