Gold Support
Each DBAM devices is supplied with a one year (from date of invoice) hardware warranty. In order to gain access to software updates, software support and enhanced hardware warranty a Silver or Gold Support Contract must also be purchased.
DBAM Silver and Gold Support Contracts have the benefit of being bundled with the appropriate software user license, which otherwise must be purchased in addition to a device.
If a user chooses not to purchase a support contract with a device, they MUST purchase the appropriate software user license for the device(s) in order for the device to remain active.
Support contracts must be purchased within 30 days of the invoice date of the device.
DBAM Support Contracts are valid for 1 year from the date of the invoice of the device, after which time they expire and must be renewed. Renewals can be made up to 8 months after the expiration of the previous contract but will commence from the date of expiry of the previous contract and not from the date of renewal.
The purchase of a DBAM Support Contract gives users access to version upgrades, and best in class hardware and software support for that added peace of mind and TCO Gold Support (total cost of ownership) control.
The DBAM Gold Support Contract offers the following level of cover for support:
